For the first time ever, a broadcast network has renewed all of its original programming: it's a good day to be airing on the CW

Anyone else watching/watched Angie Tribeca? It's clearly meant to be the new Police Squad, and it's nice to see a non-Wayans or Friedberger & Seltzer doing ZAZ-style comedy. Rashida Jones seemingly has called in every chit she has in the industry with the endless celeb cameos, but like most of the show, their hit to miss ratio is pretty solid

Haven't seen Angie Tribeca yet, but Deon Cole stole every scene he had on Black-ish so I'd check it out just for him.

I made it about three minutes into the Ranch before bailing, which is a personal record. Great cast but no thanks

The idea of a Netflix show with a laugh track is just... why?

I had hopes for this show, but the laugh track killed it for me.

Really? The "jokes" killed it long before the laughter had a chance. I mean, a new series is leading with three or four unfunny and stale lines about Shania Twain? In 2016?

Worked for the latest episode of Broad City - Abbi's excuse was she's training Shania Twain... and she was mentioned a few episodes before...

I was just posting that, Ashirg. This is the most anyone has wanted to talk about Shania Twain in one place in a long time.

Does anybody wanna hear about the time I tricked Shania into eating a chicken salad sandwich?

Why do you think that you tell the mayo story so much?

I expect it has to be structured with Auntie as the lead producer so as not to fall foul of HBO's deal with Sky in the UK.

I don't know if the US is able to get this through BBC America but Line of Duty is a British police procedural show that's just finished its third series. It's about an internal affairs division investigating corrupt cops and it's probably the biggest show on UK TV (not audience numbers but certainly for impact) - it's properly intense with huge plot twists.

Ryan Murphy's next anthology show on FX, Feud, will center on infamous feuds. The first season will be about Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange)'s rivalry during the production of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane. Alfred Molina co-stars as the film's director, Robert Aldrich; Stanley Tucci is set as studio titan Jack Warner; Judy Davis will play gossip columnist Hedda Hopper; and Dominic Burgess is set as Crawford and Davis' co-star, Victor Buono. To air in 2017.

Link.

This probably won't be very good but I'll probably love every minute of it.

That sounds like an extremely limited amount of material to work with

Does this mean we'll get a Family Feud?

For those without cable, Angie Tribeca's first season is now up on Hulu

Lethal Weapon

Honestly, I chuckled a few times. Will it be the new M*A*S*H? Probably not. Will it suffer the same fate that the Rush Hour series did at CBS? Time will tell, but at least this definitively puts to bed the fear of Lethal Weapon 5.
