20, with three titles in the right hand column. Some of the films that won for directors I'm familiar with I'm okay with missing, because what fucking film festival gives Robert Altman an award for that movie?! Indeed, several films I missed yet seen are all the more inexplicable for their inclusion

Duddy Kravitz? Cul-de-sac? Really, Berlin?

26 (and 10 in the right-hand column), completely guessing based on the directors and years. Would have gotten one more if I knew how to spell

Got 70 on the directors quiz. I'm terrible with names so I'm amazed I got more than 50! Also only got 40 on the Criterion one, which is partially because I don't own many before the 100 mark.

27 here.
SpoilerShow
Annoyingly I got Canterbury Tales but it wouldn't accept just that without the "The" and when I re-tried I put "A Canterbury Tale" instead, then gave up and moved on. Also I stuck Buffalo Bill in there but didn't proceed with the extra long subtitle, which I should have done!

I was annoyed that I couldn't remember the Patrice Chereau film (his only UK set film) and I knew the Fatih Akin and Jiri Menzel films but just couldn't bring the titles to mind!

27. Mad that I missed the Levinson and the Fassbinder. I did get all the Chinese entries. I also got the Altman, though I tried several other films before entering that title with a shudder.

15 for the Golden Bear winners. Should've gotten 16, but...

I only knew the Altman film as Buffalo Bill and not its complete title

I made it to 34 and wasted a lot of time (e.g. typing in multiple Jane Austen titles when I figured after trial and error that Ang Lee's second win must have been for Sense and Sensibility, trying every random early 00s Michael Winterbottom title I could think of and never even getting close to In The World, likewise mid-50s Lean - which kept me from going back and trying random Godard titles, for example, which would have been simpler and more strategic). A lot of films I've never heard of, even in some cases from directors I generally like or have seen quite a few films by (sorry, Werner Schroeter and Carlos Saura!)

I should have got:
Dry Summer - the director's name was naggingly familiar, but the right synapses never fired
Alphaville - I have a very poor year-of-release sense for mid-60s Godard, so this would have just been a case of typing all the films I could think of
The Theme - I tried a couple of Panfilov titles before giving up. The trick here is that this is one of the 'thaw' releases and was actually a 70s film belatedly released. I didn't fall for the same trick with Menzel, however.
Grand Canyon - I knew this had some kind of Americana / Hollywood title, but couldn't remember what it was for the life of me.
In the Name of the Father - Another one I'm sure I would have stumbled across eventually, since I've only seen a couple of films by him, but I pressed on when My Left Foot didn't work.
Child's Pose and Black Coal, Thin Ice - I've seen these, and I actually knew somewhere in my reptile brain that the former won this prize, but the director's name didn't look Romanian enough to jog my memory. (And I'd heard that Panahi had won this year, but had no idea what his film was called.)

I've seen 26 of the films I identified, and another 8 of the ones I didn't, including Woman Sesame Oil Maker, a worthy dud I'd completely forgotten existed until I saw the results pop up.

EDIT: Oh, and seven from the right hand colum, with Wetherby (apparently) the most obscure title I knew. Is that really an unknown film nowadays?

SpoilerShow
I missed Milestone and Dieterle
62 for the Criterions, 22 for the Golden Bear (I think - it might have been 23 but the site crashed just as it was showing the results).

I got 100 on the directors, 90 on the first hundred Criterions, and 21 on the Golden Bear winners.

These are fun!

These ones were fun (for me):
Oscar winners starting with the letter
"A" (43/53) + "B" (48/68) + "C" (41/52) + "D" (31/42) + "E" (18/20) + "F" (21/30) + "G" (32/47) + "H" (27/34) + "I" (17/24) + "J" (9/14) + "K" (11/13) + "L" (29/48)

I got 14 on the Golden Bear. I actually got Buffalo Bill (after guessing Nashville and 3 Women), and I take some strange delight in getting Cinderella.

Part IV:

I expect this quiz to get a couple of full marks: Directors by Actors.

I got 20/32, including 6 out of the least well-known 8 - and I haven't heard of the other two.

The only one that gave me any trouble at all was Capra. I didn't know he had worked with Stanwyck so much, so I was just running through all the directors I could think of who had worked with Jimmy Stewart and weren't already on the list: Mann, Cukor, Koster...

32/32 with four-and-a-half minutes left (However, I cheated on one by looking at Bill Murray film titles before I made the connection).
