Re: Indications of Incoming Indicator Entertainments
This morning there was a tweet saying new announcements are on the way - so maybe there's been a last minute hitch.

Those reminders usually have come the day before announcements, haven’t they? I expect they’ll be tomorrow.

They were on Friday last month, so I suspect it'll be tomorrow, yeah.

Looks like the newsletter clue this month is for Jagged Edge, so I imagine that will be announced for September/October!

A bit sad today’s announcements were for August and they appear to be skipping July - I kind of liked how the June releases were just a few weeks after the announcement but this adjustment has put them back on a more normal three month leadtime.

Re: Indications of Incoming Indicator Entertainments
Eight titles are coming out on July 27th, but they're all standard editions of previously-released titles: Buchanan Rides Alone, Comanche Station, Decision at Sundown, Georgy Girl, The Mind of Mr Soames, Ride Lonesome, The Tall T and The Wrong Box.
With regard to limited editions, you'll no doubt appreciate that the current global crisis has made things very challenging from a production perspective, especially when it comes to creating brand new extras involving third-party input, but also in terms of things like accessing vault materials, etc.

Re: Indications of Incoming Indicator Entertainments
Hey, the way I see it is if we keep pre-ordering these lovely releases, maybe we'll get an extra few titles in the last few months of the year (i.e. 4 rather than 3). If not, I'm sure next year we won't be able to keep up!
I'm personally looking forward to the already-teased upcoming titles: California Split, Buffalo Bill and the Indians, Diary of a Mad Housewife, Ishtar, Jagged Edge, and Someone to Watch Over Me. I'm sure there will be a few surprises either side of some of those!

Per exclusive news shared with the Indicator Cast fan podcast, in October there will be a 2-disc release of John Badham’s Dracula.

So seems like new releases are delayed again? Indicator on Twitter last night replied to someone saying they're, "Coming soon. Not sure when."
Wonder if Indicator will be skipping September releases?

Is it likely to be the same two presentations as the Scream Factory? Theatrical colour scheme & director’s desaturated? 4k scan from IP? With different encoding

Re: Indications of Incoming Indicator Entertainments
The disc will certainly include both versions, but I'm not at liberty to discuss anything else prior to the official announcement.

My wallet would be grateful if labels spread their releases out so that not every month is filled with must-have releases.

I'd imagine their announcement at the beginning of April still stands, KJones, posted 2 pages back.

On Twitter today, Indicator stated that Fu Manchu will not be their final box set of the year.
Any ideas what might be coming?

We know there’s another Hammer set coming, although if I remember correctly it was more of a “next year” thing? Wouldn’t be surprised if we got a random Columbia set like Capra/Stanwyck or Humphrey Bogart.

Or Sirk if we're lucky, via Universal.soundchaser wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 10:33 pmWe know there’s another Hammer set coming, although if I remember correctly it was more of a “next year” thing? Wouldn’t be surprised if we got a random Columbia set like Capra/Stanwyck or Humphrey Bogart.
I reckon a noir or Bogart are most likely though. Either would make a nice Christmas present to myself!

Turns out it’s a Columbia Noir box set...which starts at Spine 300! So get your thinking caps on as to what the 100 films between Fu Manchu and this could be, folks.

Good to hear Light Sleeper is the title teased out in the last newsletter.
Certainly, hoping an opportunity for fresh scan was given.

Any interest in doing an edition of Five (Arch Oboler, 1951)?
