I just learned that the English dub that aired on Nickelodeon (it's originally a Spanish-language show) was produced and overseen by... Harvey Weinstein, who also directed the English-language animated film adaptation that preceded it!

Weinstein as a director somehow sounds even more awful than him as a producer.

Dennis Haskins was pretty good in Clemency in a very small role, but I can't have been the only one who was a bit distracted by that casting

I think it’s funny that the two stars of the other series who have done the most to maximize their financial return on exploiting nostalgia for the show in recent years, Haskins and Diamond, are not invited to participate in the reboot

Diamond has also done the most to maximize his alienation from the rest of the cast in the intervening years, so shunning him is by no means a surprise.
