Andy Richter Controls the Universe

#1 Post by swo17 » Mon Jan 12, 2009 11:57 am

Andy Richter Controls the Universe coming 3/24/09. I was a pretty big fan of this show back in the day. It really filled a void in a post-9/11, pre-Arrested Development world.

Yes! I've been waiting for Andy Richter on DVD since it was cancelled, hopefully it's as good as I remember it being.

That is the best news ever. Here's hoping there are heaps of bonus features. This show has been aired in HD quite a bit, I wonder why the fullscreen. But that's just splitting hairs. Oh, how I love Paget Brewster. And the Conan O'Brien episode! "At least she died doing what she loved... committing suicide."

"I brought a thong to wear on the beach; my ass will be so tan that guys'll think it's a football and pass me around!"

Oh, and the episode with Byron's horrible rash? Sublime.

Conan O'Brien's guest appearance is definitely the hardest I have ever laughed while watching TV.

"Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day, but kill a man with a brick and you can have all his fish... And his wife!" How I miss Mr. Pickering's ruminations on life...

How did it make you feel when I told the thief she was pretty?

Andy Richter cover art, and some details--including the fact that this will apparently include five previously unaired episodes!

Fingers still crossed for widescreen. Not a bad cover, surprisingly. Come on Amazon, list this so I can preorder it before my Prime runs out.

From the jokes you guys are quoting, I love the sound of Andy Richter. I've never seen it - not sure if it's ever been aired here in the UK, I don't watch much regular TV - but I think I'll just take a chance and get these DVDs.

I'm afraid I have no idea what diligentboy is on about.
